  The world became modernized and teachers all over the world trying their best to be an effective facilitator in the classroom. Teachers responsibility became more prominent which is very required in the daily activities that they faced in the classroom. As a future teacher, we need to cope to the changes of the world's competition. 

                    

       The tool which is very applicable to my topic are the google.com and cosmetology.com. These websites are popular and at the same time mostly visited by the persons who wants to learn cosmetology.

          I can use these websites to let my students see the different process, tutorial and techniques in cosmetology. In this way they will learn through searching and watching videos which is very helpful in their learning process. They can also broaden their current knowledge through watching more videos related to cosmetology. 

                          

         This tool can used also in my classroom discussion which can help me to be more effective in the classroom. This tools also can catch the learners attention.

          In fact, the ISTE Standards have always led the way in redefining learning and teaching. Educators who participate in ISTE Standards-based professional learning programs say they see positive results, including increased student engagement, improved proficiency with technology and student learning gains. 

a.)What are the ISTE standards that you possess? Please cite specific personal experiences wherein you portray such standards?

          One of the ISTE standards that I possess is the Creative Communicator. Having the ability communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate for your goals. Using this standard especially when you’re having an oral reporting in class is very functional for me. You are going to select a digital tool which is appropriate for your topic and would improve your way of publishing or presenting the content that customizes your message and medium for your intended audiences. Digital Citizen is another standard that I possess. You are engaging in positive, safe, legal and ethical behavior when using technology, including social interactions online or when using networked devices. Every time I engaged myself in social media especially in Facebook, I always make it sure that my post are appropriate and in ways that are safe, legal and ethical. “Always think before you click”.

      

b.) As a future teacher, in what ways can you develop these standards among your students?

         As a future teacher, one way to develop ISTE standards among my students is to let theme engage in various activities that involves the use of digital tools. Conducting collaborative activities locally and globally helps broaden students’ perspectives and enrich their learning by working effectively and efficiently in teams. Expose them to social interconnected world wherein they could express their thoughts and ideas from the topics that you have discussed in the classroom. Example for this is by letting them make their own blog. The students should also be prepared to thrive in a constantly evolving technological landscape.

Achieving technology literacy helps students function in the world they live in. Not only is technology necessary in education and work arenas, it also helps students learn to become better decision-makers. Learning how to use technology enables students to access reliable and pertinent information regarding their health, safety and attainment of life goals. Students must understand not only how and where to look for information, but also how to discern whether sources are reliable or exhibit bias.

 Computer literacy can also refer to the comfort level someone has with using computer programs and other applications that are associated with computers. Another valuable component is understanding how computers work and operate.

Computer literacy is defined as the knowledge and ability to utilized computer s and related technology efficiently, with s range of skills covering levels from elementary use to programming and advanced problem solving.
